Welcome to a unique restaurant experience

under Lindesnes

At Lindesnes, in the southern part of Norway, we will make a world few of us know well, accessible to all. A mysterious universe filled with strange creatures.

Together with the architects at Snøhetta and our local partners, we will create an iconic building with a unique restaurant, and let you experience for yourself what hides underneath the surface of the ocean.

Our Under will open the first quarter of 2019. We are very excited!


With the restaurant placed in the middle of the food source, it is only natural that the focus is seafood. But also other local produce and what we can forage in the woods, in the garden under water and on the beach - will be on the menu of our head chef Nicolai Ellitsgaard.

Architecture & interior

Snøhetta have designed our Under. This is the first time Snøhetta is on a submarine project, and together with a number of local partners to create a unique building that provides a number of exciting challenges.

Marine Biology

Our Under will also create a new niche within the experience economy based on underwater adventures in Norwegian coastal ecosystem. We should be an eye into the unknown.
